I do

I knew some friends who are already married, if not, are getting married. I have set a mental age which I think is the right time for me to tie the knot, and that's 26. Alright, now that I wrote it, I've come to realize that it is only 2 years from now! Should I panic?

Anyway, I've listed down some pros and cons to contemplate on whether it is a good thing or I should just enjoy the benefits of being single.

Married life...

1. I have an instant yaya. Of course, my husband to be is responsible of taking care of me and my future kids. Although I think, in reality it is the other way around. Wife usually do the house chores and all of the 'losyang' stuff. But remember, husband should have the initiative to help around the house.

2. I have a partner for life. Do I need to expound on this?

3. Monetary concerns. I do not have to shoulder everything! The electricity bills, water bills, family budget etc.. Isn't it fun computing every cents you have to keep and spend with your partner? (I think I'm the only one who sees fun on this)

4. Inspiration. We all know this. Every married/ single couples know this. Once married, it is the priority of the couple to ensure a good life for their family. In that case, couple should have to depend and inspire each other to do so.

5. I have a best friend, boyfriend, husband rolled into one. It's a package for life!

Now that I mentioned my top 5 pros why getting married is a good thing,  Here's the cons:

No no no to married life (at this moment)

1. No more party night! Or limited chance of going out and have fun with friends.

2. No chance of meeting new people/ men. This is a sensitive issue. Let me elaborate on this one.One still has a chance of meeting new people of course, but, flirting is not allowed anymore. More of a professional approach should be applied.

Hmmm.. I have to think of more reasons why NO TO MARRIED LIFE YET. But so far that would be all. If you are reading this, can you add some more to both?
